These terms cover your organization's use of ShiftKin. By creating an account, you're agreeing to them on behalf of your organization.

The service

ShiftKin is a staff scheduling tool: shared schedules, shift-swap broadcasting, team messaging, time-off requests, and certification tracking. It's provided as-is, and we're actively improving it — features may change as the product develops.

Your account

• Whoever signs up creates the organization's account and becomes its admin.
• Admins are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter, and for managing staff accounts (including setting and resetting staff passwords).
• Staff accounts are for use by the person they're created for. Don't share login credentials.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials reasonably secure.

Acceptable use

Use ShiftKin for legitimate staff scheduling. Don't use it to store information you're not authorized to have, to harass staff via the messaging feature, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Pricing

Current pricing is shown on our pricing page. As the product is early in its life, pricing and billing details may change — we'll communicate any changes that affect your account before they take effect.

Your data

You own the data your organization enters into ShiftKin. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it. You can request an export or deletion of your organization's data at any time.

No warranty

ShiftKin is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Don't rely on it as the sole record for anything where a gap or error would create a safety or compliance problem — keep your own backups of anything critical.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ShiftKin isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Ending your account

You can stop using ShiftKin at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
